Privacy policy

Draft under legal review. Questions: support@pallascode.com.
This policy explains what WLS - Soluções em Informática Ltda (CNPJ 28.688.256/0001-52) (“we”), Rua Pinheiro de Ulhoa Cintra, 364, Jardim Popular, São Paulo - SP, 03673-000, Brasil, collects when you use PallasVPN and pallascode.com, and why. We collect as little as the license system needs.
What stays on your Mac
Your VPN profiles, servers, usernames, certificates and passwords are stored only on your Mac (passwords in the macOS Keychain). Your VPN traffic goes straight from your Mac to your company’s gateway; it never passes through our servers.
What the app sends us
- To check a license: the license key, an identifier of your Mac (a SHA-256 hash, not the hardware UUID itself), the Mac’s name and the app’s language.
- To start a trial: the same Mac identifier and the email you enter, so we can send the trial reminder.
- To check for updates: a request to our update feed, which includes your IP address and app version, as any web request does.
When you buy
Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record, processes the order: your name, email, country, payment details and tax information. We receive your email, country and order details to issue and send your license. We never see your full card number.
This website
The site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. It remembers your language choice in your browser’s local storage. The pricing section loads Paddle.js, which Paddle uses to show prices and run the checkout, and which may set its own cookies for fraud prevention. Our web host keeps standard access logs (IP address, page, time).
Waitlist and beta requests
If you join the waitlist or ask for the beta, we keep your email, the language of the page and, for the beta, the name, VPN type and note you typed. Nothing is kept until you click the link in the confirmation email. We use it only to email you once at launch, or to answer your beta request. To be removed, write to support@pallascode.com; the launch email also has an unsubscribe link.
Who processes data for us
- Paddle.com (payments and invoicing)
- Keygen (license records)
- Cloudflare (license server and update downloads)
- Resend (license and trial emails)
- GoDaddy (hosting of this website)
- Apple iCloud Mail (our support mailbox)
Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own safeguards for international transfers.
Why we process it
To provide the license you bought or the trial you asked for (contract), to prevent abuse of trials and licenses (legitimate interest), and to meet tax and accounting duties (legal obligation). We don’t sell personal data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
License and order records for as long as the license exists and then as long as tax law requires. Trial records for as long as needed to keep one trial per Mac. Support emails for up to 2 years after the conversation ends.
Your rights
Under the Brazilian LGPD, the EU and UK GDPR and similar laws, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to its processing. Write to support@pallascode.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Brazil, the ANPD).
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date above and, for significant changes, tell customers by email.
