Help
Installing, licensing and getting in touch. Can’t find your answer? Write to support@pallascode.com.
Install
PallasVPN needs macOS 14 Sonoma or later on a Mac with Apple silicon. Download the app, open the DMG and drag PallasVPN to Applications.
The first time you connect, macOS asks you to allow PallasVPN’s helper in System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions. The helper is what creates the VPN tunnel; without it, connections can’t start.
Free trial
Choose Start Free Trial in the app and enter your email. The trial lasts 14 days, includes every feature and works on that Mac. We email you 3 days before it ends. Reinstalling the app doesn’t restart the trial.
Activate or move your license
After buying, your license key (PVPN-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX) arrives by email.
- Open PallasVPN.
- Click License… in the toolbar.
- Paste the key and click Activate. Lower case or missing dashes are fine.
Each license works on 2 Macs at the same time. To move it to a new Mac, open License… on the old Mac and choose Deactivate This Mac…, then activate on the new one. If the old Mac is lost or broken, write to support@pallascode.com with your key and we free the slot.
Team purchases include several keys in the same email; give one key to each person.
Lost your key
Enter the email you used to buy on the key recovery page. If it matches a purchase, we send all your keys to that address.
Renew, cancel or update payment
Your purchase email has a Manage subscription link that opens your billing page at Paddle, our reseller. There you can update your card, download invoices or cancel. Can’t find that email? Use the key recovery page: the email it sends includes the same link.
If you cancel, PallasVPN keeps working until the end of the paid year, and after that with every version released while your license was active.
Intel Macs
Intel Macs aren’t supported today. The VPN engines inside PallasVPN are built for Apple silicon only, so connections fail on Intel even though the app opens. Please don’t buy a license for an Intel Mac; if you already did, ask for a refund at support@pallascode.com.
Contact
Write to support@pallascode.com. Tell us your macOS version, which kind of VPN you connect to, and attach the connection log (in the app: Log) if a connection fails.
